Took this while at ER Vet's. This is an extreme example of CIVS. There is a high probability that this case is being caused by neurological damage.
Episodes are roughly once an hour, sometimes much more frequent, if sleeping very infrequent. Loss of bladder control happens often.
I apologize for not having the presence of mind to turn the phone sideways to take a proper video.
There may not be a follow-up video. The Vet thinks that he may have a brain tumor and we don't have the thousands for a Canine MRI.
UPDATE - This was a neurological damage case. He received some relief from the medicine prescribed by Vet for 1.5 days. After that the tumor growth was too aggressive. He had no quality of life by day 4 and passed away.

Mum made DIY -ed diaper pads for our toy poodle 'Horlicks'.
She's in heat now and bleeding slightly.
We made 4 pads/diapers out of 1 pee pad.
4-5 pee pads depending on brand from Daiso a Japanese dollar store cost yup, a dollar. We can make 20 pads from just a dollar that will last us almost her whole heat period (minus the times when she's in her pen). That's a lot of savings.
Ever times she's outside her pen, she has on her pad so we avoid the yucky blood from touching the floor.
Her bleeding period lasted 9 days approximately.
The pads could easily fit a larger dog too as you can see it's big and adjustable to size.
Note this is part 1 cause we couldn't upload all in 1 video.
Sorry this was not planned and using my mum' old iPhone 4s with a bit of a scratched camera lens. Hope it gives you an idea. Please like and subscribe.

Cocojor loves all dogs here are signs to look out for Possible Signs of Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Similar to Alzheimer's disease in humans, Canine Cognitive Dysfunction is caused by physical changes in the brain and its chemicals. Past studies have shown that some older dogs with CCD have brain lesions similar to those that physicians see in Alzheimer's patients. The result of these changes is a deterioration of how your dog thinks, learns, and remembers, which causes behavioral changes that can disrupt the lives of both you and your dog. If your senior dog doesn't seem to be herself, she may be part of the large percentage of dogs age 10 and older who experience some symptoms of CCD, which include various stages of confusion and disorientation. Your dog may have CCD if she has a number of the following behaviors:
Becomes lost in familiar places around the home or backyard
Becomes trapped behind familiar furniture or in room corners
Has trouble finding and using doors and negotiating stairways
Does not respond to her name or familiar commands
Is withdrawn and unwilling to play, go for walks, or even go outside
Does not recognize or is startled by family members, toys, etc.
Frequently trembles or shakes, either while...

This is what a walking seizure looks like with a dog, this is pretty mild in comparison to what he has done before. Please don't mind my footed pj's it's bed time and it just so happen he had another "Walking Seizure" so i didn't care and just wanted to record as an educational video. When dogs have a walking seizure they tend to just pace back and fourth constantly like this, he will literally do this for hours upon hours. He did this all night last night while we were sleeping until I put him in his kennel. I found that it helped him stay in one place and he was able to finally rest.
Over a month ago my dog was pacing in circles like this and my boyfriend (Bob)and I didn't know why so we just went to bed like usual. I woke up to Bob holding couper (my dog) as he was limp and dripping with saliva. Turns out that he had a seizure in the closet and ended up getting all wrapped up in a paper shopping bag where the handle got trapped around his neck, strangling him! Another incident that we ran into was also after he was pacing like this right before bed. We woke up and couldn't find him anywhere! After a while of searching we found him squeezed in between the wall and the dresser...again dripping with saliva. I took Couper to the...

My vet suspects Princess has a brain tumor because she is 10 and just started having seizures. They keep getting more frequent. She is now on phenobarbital for 3 days and sometimes her head wobbles like this when she focuses, but not always.. Is this a side effect of the meds or a brain tumor?

My cat has been having health problems and recently started having involuntary head twitching, head rolling back with mouth open, tongue hanging out and drooling. The vet thinks it could be medication related but I'm worried they are mini seizures. He is completely normal when awake and alert, but starts to twitch when he is falling asleep. You have to watch carefully or you will miss the twitches. UPDATE: The head rolling is almost gone, and twitching has diminished. The vet now thinks it's hyperthesia.
Update #2: Bear has passed away after a 4 month battle and chemotherapy. It was most likely cancer in his brainstem.

FYI: THE GLIDER IS COMPLETELY UNHARMED AND NOT FRIGHTENED!
I can't believe my glider did this!!! Today, he has recently taken into jumping at/on my dog, Widget (Weim), and, until just now, it has been completely harmless as he jumps on top of his head or back then jumps shortly off. This one came at me completely out of surprise (to Widget too!). Now Widget is completely dominated by my little munchkin. xD
PS: I know it looks bad at the end but Gizmo is completely fine.. Gligers can handle a fall or a toss (tho not preferred). He has even tried jumping on Widget a few times just minutes after and Widget is scared to death of him now.. xD He is still hiding at my feet under the desk..

What is wrong with my dog? He is showing signs of spasm. Sometimes his whole body flips from intense spasm of the mouth.
*****Update January 9, 2010:
Furbie passed away on January 8, 2010 after living only 1.6 years. He suffered from Hydrocephalus since he was born, as evident from his eyes at birth.
Furbie passed away from the damage incurred to his brain from the seizures. The seizures derived from severe hydrocephalus. If you would like more information from my experience with my deceased dog, I would be more than willing to help you. Send me a private message

I took my cat to the vet today, because she has been losing her balance while walking. The vet thinks she might have a brain tumor or is suffering from a stroke. But, since she is getting worse, it's probably a brain tumor. Sheba is 18 years old. The vet said there was nothing he can do for Sheba.

My senior dog Red has dementia. Normally she's a very slow walker, but when her dementia hits her, she's practically running. As is common, she walks in a circle, in one direction. Here is a short video I took of her doing just that. For lots of helpful advice and information about senior dogs, please visit my website http://caringforaseniordog.com/
